In a series that featured more rain than baseball, the Diablos and Fort Worth were rained out in their attempt to finish their series. The two teams were attempting to complete the second game from their double header last night, and then play the series finale. Instead the game was called off after the two teams completed just another inning and a half.

The Diablos had to battle rain showers throughout the night, and by the end were able to win game one of the double header 5-4, but will have to wait to finish the second game on Wednesday. The Diablos were leading 4-0 in the third inning when the game was suspended for the final time of the night.

The El Paso Diablos series opening game with the Fort Worth Cats was rained out on Monday night at LaGrave Field. The Diablos and the Cats will play a double header on Tuesday starting at 4:05.

The El Paso Diablos took the first game of their double head with the Shreveport-Bossier Captains 2-1 and before finishing the second game, the game was called due to curfew. At the time of the game being called the Diablos were trailing 7-6 going into the final inning.

El Paso scored six runs in the top of the first and rode that momentum to an 11-3 win over the Grand Prairie Airhogs. With the win El Paso takes the series from the Airhogs, winning just their third series win of the season.

The Diablos squandered opportunities throughout the night and in the end the Grand Prairie Airhogs would end up pulling away from El Paso to win 7-1. The Diablos bats never could come up with the big hits they needed as they now drop to 2-3 against Grand Prairie this season.

The Diablos had one big inning and were then able to hold off the Grand Prairie AirHogs winning 6-4 at QuickTrip Park on Monday night. The Diablos win game one of a series for the sixth straight series.

Lincoln started their hitting early and never stopped as they dropped El Paso 19-6 at Cohen Stadium on Saturday night. The Saltdogs are able to even up the series at one a piece.

El Paso turned a tight game down the stretch into a comfortable win as they took down the Lincoln Saltdogs 13-7 on Friday night at Cohen Stadium. It is the Diablos first win of the season against Lincoln and the second win of the current homestand.
